the client

LSC was established in 1998 in conjunction with a leading national Warehousing and Distribution company who sought to achieve greater efficiency through better administrative control of its large staffing pool. As a dynamic service driven company LSC has shown incredible growth, now supplying staffing solutions to various national and international organisations across many different industries. Through the supply of innovative staffing solutions LSC enables our clients to stay focused on the company’s long term strategy and core competencies, ultimately enhancing competitiveness.

the brief

The brief was two fold, firstly to revive the existing identity to reflect a more forward thinking innovative thinking organisation and secondly to consolidate all the groups divisions under a single identity, with a sub branding strategy to link each division clearly to the group while maintaining some individuality. The solution needed to be practical yet innovative and pay some homage to the previous identity.

the result

Keeping the integrity of the previous identity we sought to make it more dynamic and visually engaging.

The resulting design has a unique flow to it, giving the illusion of forward movement
while retaining the solid established feel of the original identity. We then also added a simple recognisable brand icon that would strengthen brand recognition. The system of adding a second smaller icon with a colour changed proved to a simple effective sub branding solution.

LSC recently undertook the exercise of rebranding its various divisions to reflect a more coherent, single brand strategy that would give the various Business Units their own identity, yet incorporate them into a uniform group brand identity.

To this extent, we appointed Kyle Rolfe and his creative team at Idea Power. Throughout the development, the team of Idea Power walked us through the process, offering various creative solutions. In the end, Kyle and his team successfully managed to accurately capture the culture and forward thinking strategy into our new identity.
